At PUDDING LANE we are proud to say we have used the traditional method of making our puddings for 20+ years.
Our puddings are ‘boiled-in-the-cloth’ for hours infusing each pudding with rich, depthful flavours, then hung on lines to dry and mature to perfection!
**Our Story
From an inherited Prize-Winning family Recipe our International-Award Winning Puddings are proudly hand-made in Newcastle Australia with the finest of Australian Vine fruits & select ingredients; fresh eggs, fresh butter, locally baked fresh bread ( that we crumb ), flour, spices & finest matured in Oak Australian Brandy from the Barossa Valley.
Each and every Pudding we make is individually mixed by hand, weighed out by hand and shaped by hand. We then tie the puddings up in natural Calico with string and then boil them in the cloth the traditional way!
We use old style gas fired “coppers” to boil our puddings so after hours of cooking, we then hang the puddings individually on a line to naturally dry, age & mature to perfection.
